To Flea. Or Not To Flea.

Turns out we will be heading to the Flea Market tomorrow (what more could a girl ask for on her birthday?) with lots of outdoor and a few indoor lighting fixtures. I'll be sure to take pictures, and perhaps post what was sold, as well as what's still left over. We'll be selling everything at 40-75% off the retail price.

Gotta Start Somewhere.

I've decided to start this blog to chart the happenings of Redesignation (and to keep you informed on everything we have to offer). About a month ago, my husband, Tony, and I decided to make this store happen. I have July as my goal for opening a storefront (location to be determined). I'm trying to decide between the South Side or Squirrel Hill. If you have any opinions on this, please let me know. In the meantime we spent a few days at a fabulous lighting auction, where we scored some fabulous finds for the store (I'll definitely post pictures later). We'll actually be selling some of these items at Ross's Flea Market this weekend (either Sat. the 30th or Sunday). So if you're in the market for some outdoor lighting come on out, we'll be set up in the back parking lot. If you've never been to the Flea Market, it's in North Versailles, right behind the Walmart. It's a great way to spend a Saturday, or Sunday afternoon. It's an old movie theater that's been converted to a flea market. All the indoor vendors are there every weekend, while outside in the back changes every week.
